Ned Brown is running for Keller City Council Place 5 to bring common-sense leadership, fiscal responsibility, and real energy to Keller’s future.

As a longtime Keller resident, local business owner, husband, father, and former youth sports coach, Ned has spent over 20 years living, working, raising his family, and investing in this community. Keller is not just where he lives — it is home.

Ned believes Keller deserves safe schools, a safe city, strong support for first responders, and a better plan for growth. That means protecting families, supporting seniors as costs rise, improving access to transportation and services, and making sure police and firefighters have what they need to serve at the highest level.

Keller also deserves more than missed opportunities. Projects like Keller Town Center and Center Stage have fallen short of what residents expected. Ned believes it is time for a stronger vision — one that supports local businesses, grows sales tax revenue, brings families together, and protects Keller’s small-town feel.

Why I’m Running: Ned Brown’s Personal Story and Vision for Keller

In this emotional and heartfelt speech, Ned Brown shares his personal story, his deep love for Keller, and why he is running for Keller City Council Place 5. As a business owner, husband, father, and longtime Keller resident, he speaks from the heart about faith, family, hard work, perseverance, and his commitment to giving back to the community that has meant so much to his life.

Who Has the Best Vision for Keller? Watch This Forum

This video features a candidate forum held at Keller Town Hall, where candidates for Keller City Council and Mayor were given a platform to answer three important questions about the future of Keller. The discussion focused on long-term financial stability, the type of commercial development Keller should pursue or avoid, and how the city should approach police and fire compensation to remain competitive while funding those needs responsibly.

Why I’m Running for Keller City Council

Keller has been my home for over 20 years, and it’s where my family, my business, and my life are rooted. I’m running for Keller City Council Place 5 to serve the residents of our community — not to push personal agendas, political ideology, or outside interests. I believe local government works best when leaders remember who they represent: the families, homeowners, seniors, small business owners, and young professionals who chose Keller because of its safety, stability, and strong sense of community.

I believe leadership means listening first. Decisions made by the Keller City Council affect everyday life — from public safety and infrastructure to responsible growth and maintaining the character of our neighborhoods. Every resident deserves to feel heard, respected, and represented, regardless of political affiliation or viewpoint. Keller’s success has always come from neighbors working together, and I believe our city government should reflect that same spirit of cooperation and mutual respect.

As a conservative, I believe in fiscal responsibility, protecting taxpayers, supporting law enforcement, and planning growth carefully so Keller remains a place families are proud to call home. At the same time, strong leadership requires compassion, common sense, and the willingness to listen to all sides before making decisions. Good ideas don’t belong to one party or one perspective — they come from open conversation and shared goals focused on what is best for Keller as a whole.

There are times when leadership requires firmness and the courage to make difficult decisions that protect our community’s long-term future. I will always stand strong when it comes to public safety, responsible budgeting, and preserving Keller’s quality of life. But strength also means bringing people together, lowering division, and finding solutions that move our city forward without leaving neighbors behind.

United, Keller is stronger. Our community thrives when residents, businesses, and city leadership work together with transparency, accountability, and respect. As we approach the Keller TX elections, my commitment is simple: listen to our citizens, make thoughtful and balanced decisions, and ensure Keller continues to be a safe, financially sound, and welcoming community for generations to come. Together, we can make a difference in our city under the leadership of Ned Brown for Keller City Council.
